Thank you . . .

. . . for contacting me regarding industrial hemp farming.  I appreciate you taking the time to share your views with me.

In the past, Congressman Ron Paul (R-Texas) has introduced legislation that would amend the Controlled Substances Act to declassify hemp from the definition of marijuana.  The proposal would also allow states to regulate the growth and use of industrial hemp.  Should related legislation come before me for a vote in the Senate, I will keep your concerns in mind.
