Dear Constituent,
Thank you for your message regarding H.R. 1866, the Industrial Hemp Farming Act of 2009. Hearing from the people of northeast and central Pennsylvania is an integral part of my job in Congress and I appreciate you taking the time to contact me.
The Industrial Hemp Farming Act of 2009 was introduced on April 2, 2009 and referred to the House Committees on Energy and Commerce, and the Judiciary. I will be sure to keep your thoughts in mind if this legislation reaches the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives.
Thank you again for contacting me and please keep in touch.
Sincerely,
Christopher P. Carney
Member of Congress
